3/14/2020 Cincinnati Tradition COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Statement:

REHEARSAL SCHEDULED FOR 03/22/2020 HAS BEEN CANCELLED

Cincinnati Tradition Drum & Bugle Corps has made the difficult decision to cancel our March 22nd camp to ensure the health and safety of all members, staff, and volunteers.
This action is a precautionary measure while we and other marching arts organizations monitor the pandemic. Hamilton County currently has cases of the virus and all Ohio schools have closed to prevent further infection. Social distancing is the course at this time.
AN IMPORTANT NOTE: While this virus has created a roadblock for Tradition and many others in the marching arts, it’s important to note that CT carry on. For the time being, we will be utilizing online communication and instruction so that interaction between member and instructor will be continuous.
1- We will continue our recruiting efforts and focus on a restart on April 5.
2- We will be utilizing a full protection protocol as set forth by DCI and DCA when we do get back together for rehearsals in April.
Information we gathered and will be utilizing at future rehearsals from DCI:
Everyone attending rehearsal camps in the coming days and weeks should follow these simple precautionary measures:• Wash hands often with soap and water.• Avoid touching eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.• Disinfect frequently touched surfaces.• Avoid kissing, hugging, and sharing cups or eating utensils. • Don’t share water bottles.• Cough into your sleeve.• Don’t drink from water fountains.• Staff and volunteers who are not feeling well should communicate with their corps about attendance at corps functions.
Please clean and sanitize your mouthpieces and other equipment before and after you practice with them.
